In the Driftless Area do you have any plans to attack erosion at its source, the rainwater runoff and snowmelt runoff from the ridge farmers' fields? Some ridge farmers have built dams before the gullies going down the woods to the valley to hold the rainwater runoff. Most of the chemicals from the ridge farmers' fields could be contained in behind the dams and the rainwater runoff held behind the dams would seep into the ground to replenish the springs in the valley.
