It's been a while since I've re-visited this project since the first generation of brackets we created didn't work out too well and my metal guy fell through. But now I have a solid designed set of brackets to mount the Buttkicker mini LFE's to the Obutto R3volution cockpit and a new follower that has a machine shop that has offered to take these plastic models and fabricate metal versions. I can't wait to get Part 2 of this video done and turn some laps with the SimVibe software feeding different effects to each transducer independently from the iRacing!

Hey Jerry, One little thing I found with support material is if you print too hot it sticks to your print and is a pain in the ass versus if you print at slightly lower temp say 5C less it wont be nearly as bad...Glad to have a 3d printing video...your the man... :D

I was going to point out that using less than 100% in-fill would more than likely cause some interference patterns (meaning more inefficiency), but then I remembered that these were the prototypes.

When you do make the final product and it is all hard mounted I recommend using lock nuts or use thread-locker with your current nuts because once the butt kickers start kicking your butt they will send out vibrations and those vibrations will cause the nuts to shake loose and you will loose vibrations and loose a nut or two.

I'd recommend crushable copper washers and brass bolts when you attach them permanently so that you don't get any rattling.
