You need to construct a proper learning cycle?

What's that?

Exactly what we discussing today, but in a way that goes far beyond the Kolb learning cycle strategy you may have heard of before.

Plus, you'll discover principles like interleaving, which you can explore in greater depth here:

"The more you learn, the more you _can_ learn." — The more I consider this statement and what you're talking about, the more I'm starting to get it and get excited about it.

The more we learn, the more we are able to learn!
I love that reminder.

In my opinion practicing as you have a Reflective repetition approach is a must when it comes to learning, because when you reflect on the knowledge you're studying you are building and solidifying the information.

Hi Anthony, I have to say I’ve been so encouraged by my ability to take information with me when I’m done reading/studying using loci memory techniques. I’m currently studying for the CFP and I find the sheer amount of information to be overwhelming, sometimes I’m scared my memory will fail me and I’ll forget an image but so far so good. My biggest question is really contextual formulas, for instance I was doing some with transfer of value life insurance and the formula, and basically it was acquire the cost basis, subtract dividends and loans, then it was cash surrender value minus basis = ordinary income tax, and again from sale - Ordinary income tax gives capital gains tax remaining. Now I envisioned a cash dollar bill running basis waving a white flag while Orlando bloom dodges gain detergent which lands in a pile of cash to remember that. Yes very weird, but I’m having a hard time with applying context to the image creation and remembering at times why the image was placed there, I may remember the formula but not why it’s there in my memory palace. It ebbs and flows but seems to be my biggest blind spot. Love some advice. You’re the man!

The discipline to stick to this learning cycle is simple when you use your wonderful memory techniques Anthony! - CE RO AC AE - Caressing Egypt, Reflecting Outside, Ancient Chamber, Archaeologist's Excavation. (The initial letters also represent the stages of the Kolb Learning Cycle (CE, RO, AC, AE).)

Definitely need to to take this to heart. Just built a mind map from this video, so definitely will review all while I continue to build a system since I am still having a trouble to follow through so that I can do things the full 90 days.

I want to learn Gregg shorthand. I find it interesting that a certain shaped squiggle represents a word. I like the idea of writing my thoughts out more quickly than long hand and how that could expand my thinking. I tried to learn it several years ago but I gave it up. I also wish I could play piano fast. I can play and sight read slowly but I don't have time to put in the practice. When I did practice every day I didn't seem to make any progress.

I learned theoretical physics since 2016 and one of the reasons why I did it is:
- it is the law of the universe
- this law is different from human law. if you try to violate human law than usually you will succeed and then maybe you get arrested by police and maybe not. but for universe laws there are no police and yet if you try to violate these laws then you will hurt yourself and you will fail also. like jumping from a high building and trying to fly by waving your arms like wings. you won't only fail but you will get cracked like an egg
- it is important for technological advancement
- it enhances your skills at solving problems
- it makes you more wise and rational (you will see too many every day life examples similar to jumping from building and think "these people must watch national geographic's show science of stupids so they become less dummy")
and the secret to mastering theoritical physics is:
- mastering algebra especially math notation and solving equations. yoh will sometimes need to calculus but if you are very good with equations then learning calculus will become very easy
- mastering physics notation and interpreting physics equations and for those who live in common wealth countries they will need to learn metric system too

Hello Anthony I have a question.
According to Stephen Laberge if you develop your prospective memory you can then become a consistent lucid dreamer. How can memory palaces help me remember inside the dream that i am dreaming. Because it's just a problem of rememembering something in the future. With memory technics is possible to remember 200 items unrelated between them why shouldn't be possible to remember inside the dream the simple frase I'M DREAMING While dream recall it's the bases to become lucid does not make you necessarily lucid . Something more is memory technics help ?

So i have a question. (Excuse my grammar and punctuation lol.) If I studied symbolism and the act of the performing analysis of art searching for the meaning of the symbolism presented, would that translate to a better ability of understanding things better? What im asking is, would this practice translate in the betterment of my ability to understand other things like advanced mathmatics or something of that nature?

hi sir i have some questions regarding long term memorization of books
Process i follow right now is like this
If I have some big chapter to remember
I will first remember details of chapter
Usually 7 +-3(max 10 images ) each image could have 2 to 3 sub image

Then i finished full chapter remembering its details (sequence wise) in 7+-3 (image)chunks
I will take dominating person or object from all the chunks and make an story of all chunks of chapter . whenever i have to recall anything about that chapter i reverse engineer ane retrieve information I want.
Sir i use anki for periodical reviews For each chunk (7+-3 )i have one card in anki . I use bottom -up approch
Sir i have tried top down approach but it makes my story so long that I forget so many details and can't retrieve it easily
Sir can you please suggest me any changes or improvements i can make in this system . sir how you remember large chapters ? ❤️🙏👍
