Silence (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is a mute gunfighter with a sense for justice. He is hired by a woman whose husband has been killed to take revenge on Loco (Klaus Kinski), one of the bounty hunters hired to hunt down homeless poormen around Snow Hill. A new sheriff (Frank Wolff) and the local judge (Luigi Pistilli) make the matter a little complicated.

Now I know where Tarantino got the idea for Jodys costume in Hateful Eight.
Tarantino also added a lot of story elements from this for hateful eight.
Plus the music in this is awesome

This morning was really good and was one of the movies Quentin Tarantino borrowed from heavily including the music. Damn Vonetta McGee and her sister were both gorgeous. RIP to them both.

Sergio Corbucci said in an interview, that there was no direct sound recorded on the set. The actors were just counting and the whole dialogue was recorded in Post-Production.

I don't have to admit it any of this because it's not true. Sergio Leone reinvented the western with his spectacular vision, not destroyed it. Eastwood has gone to create great westerns himself, both acting and directing. I'm sorry that you don't share the same view point, but don't go calling a crowd of people losers simply because they enjoy something, especially if it's as highly acclaimed as the Dollars trilogy.

i don't know what you mean by "direction sound" but of course direct sound is recorded on EVERY movie set today. Even if you do ADR, you record it for reference.

I liked it, but I just can't take the plot holes. When (spoiler) Klaus Kinski kills the sheriff by digging the rifle out of the snow, didn't that mean that the rifle couldn't work since it was frozen? And the amazing ending was awesome, but wasn't it night when it started and day when it ended? It could never have taken such a long time.... These things just ruined the whole film for me.

Doesn't look any less goofy than any of the other spaghetti crap. You have to admit that Leone and Eastwood destroyed the western genre for decades, being nothing mor than hate filled one dimensional control freaks that nerds in cubicles imagined themselves to be like. Kinski was undeniably a better actor than Eastwood (about whom it can be said "run the gamut of Eastwood expressions and emotions, all one of them"), so this movie probably is better than the dollar trilogy flop for losers.
