What indicates that you need to switch from binomial to normal distribution for part b? Is it just that it says using a suitable approximation?

i dont get for the first example why we have to do all that like you get the same result from just doing it normally with binomial so when would i know to do it this way

hello no worries if no one replies as I know the video is old, but when you’re calculating probabilités with the normal approximated from the binomial do you always have to apply continuity corrections?
