0:21
can still fix this to survive we need to
0:24
stop burning fossil fuels but this alone
0:28
will not be enough lots of solutions I
0:31
talked about but what about a solution
0:33
that is right in front of us I'll let my
0:36
friend George explain there is a magic
0:39
machine that sucks carbon out of the air
0:42
costs very little and builds itself it's

nature is a tool we can use to repair
1:06
our broken climate
1:08
these natural climate solutions could
1:10
make a massive difference
1:12
pretty cool right but only if we also
1:15
leave fossil fuels in the ground
1:18
here's the great part
1:21
right now we are ignoring them we spend
1:26
a 1000 times more on global fossil fuel
1:29
subsidies that are natural based

more crazy right now when we need nature

every single day much of the Arctic ice
1:55
is gone
1:56
most of our wild animals have gone much
1:59
of our soil has gone so what should we
2:02
do what should you do it's simple we

need to protect restore and fund

restore much of our planet has been
2:23
damaged but nature can regenerate and we
2:27
can help ecosystems bounce back fun we
2:32
need to stop funding things that destroy
2:35
nature and pay for things that help it

it is that simple protect restore

Great idea. Now tell it to the children digging cobalt out of the ground by hand. Ask them if we have robbed them of their childhood.

Millions of years ago when dinosaurs walked the earth c02 levels were as high as 2000 parts per million. Currently c02 levels are just over 400 parts per million.

Climate salesman are not too good at maths.
