Tides were big this week. Bumped into a chap shore fishing from the launch on my daily dog walk. Said he was inundated with weed don’t think he had ought.

you should just get a clip on camera holder or tie the tripod to the boat to keep it in place. May save you the headache of worrying about it

Where I fish for skate you literally can’t hold the bottom even with 6 pound of lead on a spring tide I think it depends on the mark you fish
