Hi Kevin, ok so remember this simple rule when drilling metal. The harder the metal the slower the speed. Also a good drilling fluid is automotive antifreeze. Just remember to clean ot up properly because its roxic to animals. Good luck and thanks for the great vids!

I also love your videos a lot. I’ve only been watching for around a month or so but I was interested in rc cars since I was a kid and my uncle was running his nitro traxxas up the road haha but your videos have completely reclaimed my interest in rc cars. Thank you 🤙

Lube the spots with some oil as u drill so the bit can stay sharper longer, otherwise the friction generated heat will soften the drill bit and go dull fast, and also drill at a slower speed. Drilling to fast will dull the bit faster also. With titanium, you do need a carbide /diamond dusted drill bit rated for high tensile strength, but also can do it with stepping the drill bit gauge in stages. Make a pilot mark, with a punch, and then start off with 2 steps smaller drill bit to break through a pilot hole, then you can step up next size, widen the hole, and then one more size up drill bit to final size. Thats how i learned to do it with metals harder than iron/steel to drill. But cutting, either carbide based, diamond dusted blade and lube also, or plasma cutter / high pressure water jet cutting table.
