Minecraft has such a simple yet beautiful soundtrack, I love playing it. There's sheet music in my original performance for anyone interested, and check out my channel for more minecraft :)

I remember building Walmart with my friends, we literally just made a huge box with some sliding doors. But in our eyes it was the most beautiful thing that was ever made.

never in my life have i heard a soundtrack evoke the same kind of bittersweet melancholy that minecraft does. it's so peaceful, but lonely. calm, but empty. this soundtrack deserves way more credit for what it does.

Reminds me of the good ol' days of Old School Minecraft.
When Creative was in one large inventory, and the 12 year olds were still quiet.

Memories of building houses out of dirt. Memories of not knowing if squid were dangerous. Memories of thinking chickens were mooshrooms. Memories of being afraid to play on anything but peaceful. Memories of useless villagers, of walking everywhere to conserve food, of hoping there would one day be an Overworld dragon. Memories of simpler, quieter times. Thank you, Notch, for bringing us this game. Thank you, Marioverehrer, for reminding us of this wonderfully peaceful soundtrack. And thank you, Minecraft, for giving us some of the best times of our childhoods.

*Nostalgia*

I always hated survival because after a while, it got so depressing...

I cried listening to this song! Beautiful times when I played singleplayer and a world where I could not see friends, talk... times that do not come back! My works have all been deleted! :'(

My mom plays the piano sometimes but it's kinda rare, and I was always fascinated with how beautiful that sounded. It was not used very often, and I wanted to play but I have never taken any courses or anything like that. But one day I told myself:
"Yo, wouldn't that be cool if you learnt a few songs on this piano even though you never touched it before and don't know how to read charts? C'mon it's gonna be easy with these YT channels showing what keys to press"...and that's what I did.
This is the first one that I actually took involvement into and fully learnt . I wanted to know how to play it so bad, and I regret nothing, brings me nostalgia whenever I hit these keys. Plus, my mom loves it when I play so it's a win win situation I guess :)

This song makes me think of my past. The innocent Minecraft phase from 8-11 where I did not know it, but I was playing a game where I could escape reality to be in this blocky, lovable world where my consequences were gone.
But it makes me think of more. Back then I did not know of consequences and whatnot, nor did I have any real definition of life or its meaning. But this makes me think that although some may say: "You only live once, so try to make the most of it", life has no meaning. Obviously the shadowing thought of "we'll all die someday so what we do doesn't matter" was a bit depressing at first, but remembering this makes me think that what we do doesn't actually matter. There's no such thing as "having a life" or being "better than someone else", because it doesn't matter. Whatever we do, whoever we are, whether we are loved by everyone or no one we are all complete human beings. What we do in this world may not be up to us, but no matter what you do with your life you will always have "made the most out of it".

this song reminded me:
the time from 1.2.3
the old gravel texture
these first 'common' blocks in the inventary in the creative mode
that creeper behind you when you punched the tree
these fake videos of herobrine
awesome rollercoasters and waterslides
i tought by punching the wolf with a bone i would pet him
watching minecraft comedians like ItsJerryAndHarry and CraftedMovie
and watching to tutorial channels like Sethbling

those were days.
Thanks Mario!

When i was about 7 years old i had a world full of dogs. I had about 10 of them, all with a specially built dog house, all different coloured collars, all named. Everything i built was dedicated to them. A walking track, a park, a big building where all their kennels were, etc. Thanks to all this nostalgia I remembered all my dogs and smiled :’)

Most people like minecraft because of mods and youtube

But we forget how peaceful the music and the game are
