This is INCREDIBLE. The colors, the perspective, the detail.. Of course it's amazing because it was done by Mal, but this piece just holds a special place because Pokémon is so dear to me.

(Okay I'm an idiot because I thought this was a perspective of Cinnabar to Pallet (even the Pallet doesn't have a volcano, but anyway).. this is what happens when I assume things before watching the full version...)

I love the colors here, the colors of dawn where it's the beginning of the day and the beginning of your journey. It's like capturing a moment of reflection as the player thinks about how far their journey will take them. They're going to travel across the region, across the ocean!, on a journey to be the very best. It's awesome and I'm feeling so much nostalgia...

I always say I'm going to buy a piece, but I'm terrible and forgetful and never do it, but for real, I'm going to buy something with this print. It's gorgeous and the colors match my room!
