this didin't work for me on visual studio 2017. The site name doesn't come up in the applicationhost.config file

Thanks, in new versions, this file is located in solution folder itself.

There's a free Visual Studio Extension called Conveyor that you can use to do this, it's much easier and doesn't need the config changes or port forwarding.

LanConnect isn't available while using VS 2017. Do anyone know way to achieve same on VS 2017 ?

using VS2019 aspnet core 3.1... on a win10... I guess its diferent because I didn´t find my webapi site on the file you talk about in this tutorial, do you know what to do in the new vs2019?

Great tutorial, by the way for new Versions of Visual Studio, there is a hidden config folder inside the same project yo work for so people change the same thing you explained from there.
