George ventured up to the Isle of Skye in Scotland to test out the new Panasonic LUMIX GH6. He then headed back down South to further test the camera in Greenwich, London. Here George shows off some of his test shots, gives a detailed run-down of the specs, and offers some opinions on his favourite things about the camera.

The Panasonic LUMIX GH6 offers unlimited recording times in all video modes, internal Apple ProRes recording and 7.5 stops of IBIS, with specs like these, it's certainly something to take a long hard look at!

I put some GH6 footage through FCP. The clips shot with boost stabalisation some 7-8 seconds long were very stable. Once I applied tripod mode in FCP it was just that - you really don't need a tripod for a lot of shots.

Hi. At 4min 30 you mention that IBIS mode can't be turned off. Is that just for IBIS in the anamorphic mode or every mode? Thanks

The only reason that could prevent me from buying is the HDR bracketing settings called AEB. The GH4 shot brackets of 3, 5, and 7 in increments of 1 EV or smaller. It needs to have steps of at least 2 EV for real estate. Could you tell me if the GH6 has AEB 5 @ 2EV??

Great video, thanks. Any idea if the dimensions of the body are the same as the GH5 and subsequently if it'll fit the same dedicated camera cages?

I still have 4x GH4s in daily use, and unless you need that extra bit of res or slow mo, nothing here looks any better (most of it worse) than what we get from the amazing GH4s.

great video but yo didn't talk about AF. How reliable is in real terms. Will I be disappointed having all these amazing features but not having reliable AF. Also, is the camera weather sealed as it has a vent for its fan.
