iOS 13 Public Beta 1, Dev Beta 2, and iPad OS - Follow up review

iOS 13 Public Beta has been out for a few days and I share my experience so far with iOS 13 Public Beta, iOS 13 Developer Beta 2 and iPad OS Beta 2. iOS 13 has been very buggy with multiple crashes and problems and if you are thinking of installing it on your main devices, I would definitely advise against it until the iOS 13 Public Beta 2 is released in July. #iphone #iOS #Apple

My main issue has been LTE and WiFi. Also certain animations between apps will force close the app. My iMessage works on the XR and battery has been the same for me. My biggest issue is actually watch OS 6. I rarely get any notifications and the watch Series 3 overall is a bit slow.

Aaron, I am not having any of the problems you are having. IMessages works GREAT for me and never crashes. I’m running the latest beta (not developer), of IOS 13 on my iPhone 10 XR, having upgraded from IOS 12.4 beta 5.

I’m running the public beta on my iPad Air 2 and it’s awesome, just a couple of text overlaying bugs. I absolutely love the tiny swipe keyboard, makes one handed typing so much better

I’m on the beta too. I haven’t had any problems really, and I’ve tested all the betas from iOS 9 to now. The only issues I’ve encountered are very mild, like the playback indicator losing time with the playback of music in Apple Music and the YouTube app stretching outwards and off the screen. For me this has been the most stable first beta ever, apart from the iOS 12 public betas. Pretty impressed so far and will be very interested to see what kind of improvements pb 2 brings. Certainly the performance stutter that used to be around until the GMs is totally gone, which probably has to do with the new phones having so much power headroom.

Strange. My imessage works perfectly.

Plus, Battery life is about same sometimes better on my xs max. Public beta 1.

Battery life is fine for me, on the public beta. Two main bugs are 1) batch delete in email not working and 2) air print not working at all, which is a bit of a major but luckily I have a work laptop I can use for printing. Apart from that the beta is pretty good, all my main apps are working.

I am running the public beta and using watchOS 6. I am experiencing very minor bugs mainly in imessage on iOS . I’m getting very very good battery life . Im blown away with the performance of the battery life getting between 7-8 hours screen on time

Currently using public beta on my iphone 7plus and surprisingly i didn't experience many bug issues. Only some apps did crash on my iphone and thats all. Battery life is awesome and it didn't drain so fast.

I tried out the 13 beta and knowing it’s beta i decided to go back 12. I had problems with my podcast not playing and when i locked my screen it would stop my maps and podcasts. Also when messages would come through Bluetooth it would also stop podcasts and maps. I did put all this in the feedback and hope it’s fixed and will be excited to get the 13 when the bugs are not as prominent. Love your videos!!!

I updated to the public beta yesterday and so far it works fine for my iPhone XR. It works as if it was the actual iOS 13 release.

for me, ipad os 13 on my ipad 6th gen has been great. i don't experience the touch responsiveness or respring issues like your ipad pro.

save for over 20 annoying bugs that i get from daily usage.
