I dreamed of being a factory mechanic when I was in high school. Wanted to go to MMI but my parents saw it wasn't the most guaranteed path and they were right. Did AAS in machining and BS in engineering instead. Now I do high end bike builds for myself and others at my house when I'm off work to fill the dream.engineering is something I can do for 8 hours with minimal stress. But I enjoy working on bikes so much I could work on a bike all day and then fall asleep searching for parts.

I should of went to MMI right when I graduated high school..I’m 30 now and have been in so many deadbeat jobs I regret not going. Everyday I think about it. Just can’t bring myself to do it.
