This year’s Woman of the Year Awards were held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Torrance.
This year's honorees were:
Ghislaine Davis
Patricia Jones
Sherry Kramer
Cynthia Woodruff-Neer
For more than a dozen years, Switzer Learning Center has presented the South Bay Women of the Year Awards to recognize women who have made a significant and diverse contribution to the community through their work in areas such as:
-education
-business
-healthcare
-services to at-risk youth
-special needs children and young adults
-volunteerism
This fundraising event gives Switzer Learning Center an opportunity to reach out to the wider South Bay Community and to promote our school and programs. Selection of women to be honored is solicited from the community, past honorees, and local businesses with a committee of community leaders making the annual selection.
Thank you to everyone who attended. Thank you to our honorees for everything you do for our community!
