I unironically cannot wait to build roads.

At 3:21 I assume that the benefit from being at peace would be not getting your house burnt down. Less of a bonus and more a lack of a malus kind of thing. I agree that the wording is somewhat ambiguous.

Roadbuilding was one of my favorite parts of M&T and I love how expensive they are. The expense moves them from just one of the constructions to something you have to tie in your gameplay, and it will probably feel very rewarding once you connect your whole country with roads

I'd like to know how Prosperity is affected by the intensity at which your lower classes are exploited. Having perpetually starving peasants and loaded lords should probably be different from having plump peasants and scruffy lords. No idea what the history books says, though.

They’ve said before the click and hold thing is an option. I’m pretty sure in response to your concern in a previous TT lol

People not knowing what Development means and only knowing it from Eu4 has been kinda funny. In PC it actually means what it means in real life aswell.

We love roads and civic infrastructure.

I agree that click and hold is the worst possible way to make an action in games.

I feel like dev cap could be tied to the location attributes. Based on climate, topography, geography, etc. Giving unique caps to all locations

Doesn't matter where you build roads, they all lead to Rome😎

18:14 "it will cost a thousand ducats! That's kinda crazy"
Flashbacks to M&T and like 2k ducats to build a road in 1 province

the border with Norway was a bit further north than you thought, the gray area between the green and the border is what the player can't afford yet

I think domestic road infrastructure should exist at the same time as through transit infrastructure.

Ironically, Project Caesar is definitely better at nation gardening than Victoria 3

I am pretty sure the scots would have one or two things to say about wars fought on british soil...

Most of my imperator Rome gameplay is building roads. Then taking my land to build more roads.

All I need is dynamic campaign. To campaign be finally dynamic they must implement AI into game core, a special strategic AI like the one at Pentagon but with humanish face so it would be possible to feel resistance of machine yielding before superior species i.e. us

I hope there will be canals as well, the Netherlands was very heavilly connected by canals between locations.

Canals, roads, and also railways should imho not be the same thing, they should be able to exist alongside eachother

Man, what 'bout ma cheap Norwegian roads? Nah, it makes sense, but man that's most definitely gonna make it expensive to connect Norway by roads considering its geography.
