We worship a Holy God. The manner of our worship to him should be HOLY. We are in this world but shouldnt live as this world does. The time is coming and has now come that the almighty is looking for true worshippers. John 4v23. May the almighty be so present in our lives that we leave no room for worldly pleasure....

*GOD's LOVE is NOT Reckless.*
*"Reckless love"* it is a very erroneous representation of the love of GOD.

Some of the meanings of the word reckless are:  carefree, careless, foolhardy, rash, hasty, ill-advised, imprudent, negligent, thoughtless, breakneck, daredevil, desperate, devil-may-care, fast and loose, feckless, harebrained, headlong, heedless, helter-skelter, hopeless, hotheaded, inattentive, incautious, inconsiderate, indiscreet, kooky, mindless, playing with fire, brash, uncareful, unwise.

*GOD IS LOVE* 1 John 4:8b Love is an attribute of GOD. Love is a core aspect of GOD’s character, HIS Person.

God’s love is in no sense in conflict with any of HIS other attributes / character.

There is not a single verse in the Bible where GOD is described in any of the above meanings of the word reckless, because it is not compatible to the character of GOD.

Let us see 2 examples:

1) Recklessness implies an inability to see the future, but GOD knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).

2) GOD takes no risks because a GOD who is all-powerful and all-knowing by nature cannot take risks. GOD’s salvation plan was never risky or reckless, and all throughout the gospels, Jesus explains that he knows exactly how he is going to be received by the world and what will happen to him (John 10:25-28).

We could substitute another word for reckless eg. "great", "wonderful", "awesome" etc...

Songs have great power to influence our thought and our beliefs. All of us are vulnerable and emotional during worship, we must be careful about the lyrics that is presented especially to our children. If a particular lyric is promoting an anti-biblical understanding of GOD’s character, as “reckless love” clearly is, then it needs to be corrected. Just because a song is popular doesn't make it right.

As worshippers, we have to ask ourselves: do the words coming out of my mouth, which are supposed to guide us in worshipping GOD for who HE really is, accurately reflect God’s character? If they don’t, then how can we be worshipping in “SPIRIT and TRUTH” (John 4:24)?
