Another beautiful piece! That scoring is what you do to make a metal box in using a brake or a vice for folding a nice crisp edge. So smart of you to do that and use the side of the vice too. ❤

I like the way you have a general plan, but when things go wrong you roll with it and adapt.

Hello,

My name is Lionel and I live in Paris, France. (excuse my poor English)

I really like your original work off the beaten track and I recommend your page as soon as I can.

I'm surprised: when they're created, the edges of your jewelry are very sharp, maybe even cutting, but in the end they become very soft, rounded. Can you explain how you do it, how you polish and why not a little video would be very welcome.

Thanks again for sharing.

Lionel

Love this ! Thank you for showing us your process. I've tried something a bit similar with a couple pieces & had a difficult time with the bendiing of the bezel/prongs. Scoring would really help. Now I know for next time! Also, the pan you have on the floor to catch your saw dust and small pieces is a great idea. My workspace is my dining table so I don't have a catch tray, so I've just used the end of my apron. Pain in the butt, let me tell ya.. Thanks for that little tip. I'm gonna get me one of those pans!
