The camera it the main stability factor, it keeps the drone at its spot by the use of camera tracking. without it it wouldn't hover so nice at all. Try it out by moving a thing onder the drone (your foot) while flying or just tape the camera off and see the difference.

I def agree shaving the cam would've sped it up nicely I have the lil bro to this the rollin spider for 40 bux why not cheapest way to get into the hobby where it's very ez to find parts and updates are regular

I won the parrot mambo but cant get it to sinc to my phone. Lg5 ussing the app. I got it to sinc to a tablet but says for security reasons it need a firmware update follow the link but nothing found after that... Pain in the ass!!!

What does it do if it goes out of range? Will it just land itself?

If you don't move the controls while the drone is in the air, does it stay completely still in the air or it make smooth movements to the sides?

I asked for a "Parrot Minidrone Airborne Night Maclane" and I hope I get one for my birthday and this would be really fun if you had 2 because then you and a friend/Family could have a battle or challenges. But I hope you guys have fun!

Good review, especially for a starter. Practice racing drone is a good evaluation. For those of us who live in windy countries, it's much too light.

When I charge mine there is flashing red lights. Is this normal? What does it mean?
