Vietnam Communist Party leader laid to rest after two-day state funeral

Vietnam today bids its last farewell to the late General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong.

He died last Friday at the age of 80 from illness.

Thousands of people lined the street as the casket was carried to his resting place at a cemetery on the outskirts of Hanoi.

A country with millions of people shedding tears because of a leader's departure, that country cannot be defeated by any force, the love and solidarity of the people is the most accurate measure, you can Defeating an army, but never defeating a nation.
I believe that if other countries have such capable and ethical leaders like Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, their citizens will benefit a lot from their policies. Looking at the situation that Vietnam has had to face for the last 20 years - being the young economy, his policies really helped the country's economy boom and strengthen international bonds amidst the geopolitical conflicts. People tried to find flaws but couldn't because he was really a great leader. I think if he had been a white man, he wouldn't be scrutinized by some opposing sources.

Nguyen Phu Trong is loved by all Vietnamese. In modern Vietnam history, only three leaders that are loved by all Vietnam people: President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. His passing is a big lost for Vietnam and Vietnamese people.
