I also wanted to explain my math @ 5:08 a little as well for those of you that are curious. It starts counting your mission time from the moment you get on scene to the completion of all objectives. We can subtract a minute or two before water was first applied to the fire for setup time. Let's be generous and say it took us a full 2 minutes to get water on the fire, leaving 4 minutes. Of that 4 minutes, water was most certainly being applied the entire time with how stubborn these fires are. At a modest flow rate of 475 Litres Per Minute that's an actual total of 1900 Litres flowed on a SINGLE attack line.

You can also dial the nozzle up or down to flow more or less. Considering the game is based on an American Fire Department, a lot of them use a 65mm as their standard attack line, which has an even HIGHER flow rate. The only way this math sort of makes sense is if I dropped the flow rate on the nozzle all the way down to the bare minimum around 130 Litres Per Minute. Even then, water was still being applied to the fire for longer than a minute.

What is clearly evident to me is they are using European Firefighting flow rates. Many places in Europe use higher pressure and lower flows to combat a fire, so these numbers would make sense if this was a European fire apparatus. However it is not, it is an American fire apparatus with significantly higher flow rates.

I actually appreciate the fact you can look at it from the prescriptive of someone who actually does the job in reality. I noticed these things too but I kinda just worked with what I had. This is a great vid man, earned a new sub!

If you in a room full of fire do a O or a Z shape padder with your attack line and it makes putting fire out faster

Sounds like this game needed an actual fireman on the dev team, even if to just point out some things during playtesting.
