What do you think about the all-new Santa Cruz's Vala?

Not sure why everyone is hating the new 4 bar suspension. If you've been around long enough, you would know all santacruz full suspension bikes were single pivot. Bullit, super 8, then went onto vpp which served them well obviously. Nothing wrong with them going to the 4 bar. As far as their pricing, yes they are typically on the hi end but the have the best warranty on the market, you really are paying for your bearing replacement cost up front here people. If you dont like it dont buy it. Their fit and finish is second to none.

Lovely bike by Santa Cruz all the haters complaining about them ditching the split VPP frame design, thats great news for me as 4 bar is far more UK weather friendly, and it looks the nuts, and I bet my house they will sell a tump of these bikes. We are starting to see the full fat merge with the SL category with full fat weights lowering considerably, exciting times for eTMB’ing

You tried both the AMflow and this Santa cruz Vala. Which one gives the best ride? Cheers

Wonder if we will see dji motor on aftermarket brands as well and not just on amflow?

As someone who hasn't even gone full sus yet let alone EMTB I realky like the look of this bike. I'm seriously tempted to get something soon E soon and price depending this looks like a good option. I really like the look of the Amflow bikes too and being a DJI drone fan I'm confident in their backup too even though they are new to this game.

Im a bit disappointed that Bosch only released a new version of the Race motor. I was expecting at least 90 Nm of torque and at least 400% assistance.

How does the bike compare to the Amflow?

Shame there’s no removable battery, but what would a California company know about winter?

This looks to be pitching itself primarily against the Orbea Wild. With the bigger battery, similar spec and better deals on offer, I’d be going Orbea every day.

As we are weighting approx the same, may I ask you your suspensions settings on both fork and rear shock ? Thank you !

Sick! But why this Hole behind the Motor? Not enough Plastic to cover that? :D

how is this different from the Rail? looks so similar!

Ok Jonesy, considering this because of its weight and capability (for my wife) - Bosch motor being one of the highlights. She can't muscle the Rail down Staunton because of it being a bit too heavy - would she be better off with the Heckler SL (Fazua teething problems notwithstanding). We're pretty much exclusively using it in FOD and South Wales, typically doing 5-6 runs at your usual spots of

I need to demo one. Not liking where the lower link comes together. Get a rock between the triangle and the frame and its game over. Cool though, but who is asking for this?

Now a Megatower with this motor would be rad.

Yesterday merida, today santa cruz, shimano is losing more and more ground, they need to step up with innovations quickly or they are out of the motor market soon
