I thought I would try to land a 757 in aspen, ATC gave me visual approach runway 33 which comes in over the mountain. I couldn't stop fast enough so i had to set my parking in order to stop in time, check it out.

I love Denver to Aspen shuttle... I can do this all day

I think that is the Captain Sim 757...how did you get the long displays?

Not bad. 33's a hard runway to land on as you had to clear those hills before you could descend then you ended up picking up 20kts trying to get it down in time. If you can start your approach 20 kts slower I think you'll nail it.

That's why they don't authorize IFR aircraft landing runway 33. IFR aircraft land runway 15, it's much easier. Also why'd you set Parking brakes upon landing? That's a good way to blow out your tires
