I am interested in the Solar Pulse SP-3 to maintain the charge in my 12V RV battery while in storage. Is the SP-3 charger intended to be attached to the battery while the battery is still connected to RV?

Would a AGM battery setup benefit from this technology or would the pulses have a undesirable effect because of the difference in construction?

I connected solar panel to my semi that has 4 batteries. The light on circuit box shuts off when I connect to batteries. When I disconnect panel from positive and negative from batteries the red light turns back on?
