This is my take on the matchup between Trigon and Darkseid, and who would actually win. I look at it from a narrative perspective, and a typical vs battle angle. Enjoy!

Sorry but no. Maybe Infinite Frontier has a chance to defeat trigon but other version do not. Trigon is pure evil. If we are talking about the version of Trigon from the 70s and 80s then maybe Darkseid stand a chance. Actually Darksaid won once but with help of teen titans. But after that Trigon's a GOAT. Releasing Trigon in one world is a threat to the entire multiverse, which happened many times also Trigon always manages to take over Hell and defeat Lucifer, which Infinite Frontier Darkseid worked hard to do once. Speaking of the best versions than combining the power of two trigons sounds bad and would give trigon a victory over the infinite frontier darkseid, but the infinite version of Trigon from all worlds would pulverize darksaid to dust.

I don't really think comparing Trigon to Infinite Frontier Darkseid is a good idea since this is supposed to be the most powerful version of Darkseid in like ever. True Form Darkseid vs Trigon would've been a much closer fight imo but it's been done again so i get why you went with IFD. I really liked the video and how you analysed both characters' feats and narratives.
A nice match up to see would be Trigon vs Surtur or Dormammu. Keep up the Good work man! 👌

I think that the Thanos vs Darkseid battle it's boring and not very original, but i think a real serious and epic battle will be Knull vs Darkseid, both are avatars of two very powerful beings, have a good night bye :)

I feel like surviving a fight with the Presence and being stronger than his great grandson who one-shotted Michael Demiurgos should automatically make Trigon WAY above Darkseid in basically everything. The shows and Teen Titans had to massively nerf him to make it fair. Just my two cents.

People seem to forget that Infinite Frontier isn’t as much of an upgrade as people think. Darkseid has ALWAYS been more powerful than Trigon, and his every one of his appearances have ALL BEEN CANON. Jack Kirby wrote he and the rest of the New Gods to be immune to retcons and reboots. In Crisis on Infinite Earths for instance, they were watching the events unfolding like Spectators. Every single time DC has rebooted their timelines and multiverses. Darkseid always is unfazed. He remembers the Multiverse as it was written back in the early days of DC. The Darkseid we have now is the exact same Darkseid we first got in his debut. He is immune to the reboots. The only exception being New 52, which is what Infinite Frontier explains. Darkseid’s True Form has always been one of the most highly powerful entities in the DC Omniverse. In fact, the only beings who actually are able to defeat him are The Presence himself, Lucifer Morningstar and The Endless.
