This really showed how intelligent Shino is. He foresaw a situation where Zaku was forced to use both arms and tricked him to damage himself to the point where he can’t battle. He literally didn’t have to do anything else to win. Just quick careful planning and patience. A true ninja

Shino had so much potential to be developed as a character. He had cool moves, a mysterious persona and zero clownery. Sad that he got reduced to wearing a toaster on his eyes. One of my favourite underrated characters!

Edit: And I'm still mad we didn't get to see the Kankuro vs Shino fight... he had the potential to become Chunin along with Shikamaru. Dang.

Really bad how they forgot about Shino after his fight with Kankurō. He became a background character like 99% of the Chūnin Exams cast.
