I was at 54, in april 79.
Being an 18-yro exchange student from Sweden... it was quite an experience!
AFS had fixed a great hosting family - they had contacts - rest is history. (Tack!) Thanx!

3:18 in the white suit the famous photographer Francesco Scavullo who shot for Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Interview, Harpers Bazzar and many more magazines. He shot all the models, singers, actors and others in the 60s-early 00s. Francesco shot the famous model Gia Carangi and she passed away from AIDS in 1986 at 26. Francesco died in 2004. Also the guy next to him in the glasses was his assistant and partner Sean Byrnes who helped him shoot photographs for magazines and Sean is still alive.

Ere ere, same ere! Was only old enough for the school disco at the time. Me n partner making up for lost time in our own nightspots in UK. Im 57, very happy music. Youngsters need this today to keep people moving, not standing around bored with just the booze. There are some out there that love to dance around though! Excercise benefits as well. Whats not to like?

Ohhhh I'm imagining just being in that place! Can y'all imagine being with Grace Jones, Mick and Bianca Jagger, THEN Jerry Hall lol 😆 Liza Minnelli, Michael Jackson, etc? It would have been insane in da membrane! 😊 But in a way, I'm glad I wasn't there - drugs are not my thing- so God knows he was protecting me ... But I sure would have loved to Boogie down on the dance floor!!!

Nice photos and videos, much of which I haven't seen. I suppose there were a few people in there actually dancing and having a good time with no drugs, just a few drinks. The people on the dancefloor look so wholesome...most of the women do. Nobody looking strung out or anything..only Steve.
