Have you done Top 10 Pointless Remains? A lot of corpses, skeletons and what not in the game doesn't make sense, either by their position or origin. like centaur skin rugs (gruesome by themself) being used in Eastern Kingdoms. And Draenor being littered with skulls that don't fit any creature, because they were based off a rylak design that was scrapped in favor of the chimaera model

The beaches of starting zones are iconic because they'd give you this feel where you are, at least for a moment, out of whatever is going on in the zone, especially at creepy places like Tirisfal, you'd go to the shore and it's a normal beach with random creatures like murlocs or hounds around the place, and you can take a break from all the undead. Also in Eversong Woods, the beaches are very "normal" for such a colorfoul forest. You're in a magical like place and then it transitions into a random beach in a way it feels connected, that's one of the things that makes WoW a world.

Why Stranglethorn is not on this list? It's literally a tropical beach themed zone, especially the south part. Definelly should be at the top 3, but for me is number 1 for sure.

I like the beaches in Suramar right on the outskirts of the city

There's also a dive bar (probably the most remote) off Beach no. 9.

My addition would be the beaches of Drustvar, at the bottom of that massive cliff. No daily quest run was complete without one visit, for turtles or a rare or what have you. For some reason, despite it being a logistical nuisance as non-flying Horde, I never minded heading to a beach in Drustvar. Better than going into the forest, I guess!

When you described the Senjin village beaches as number one, that is how alliance mains feel about westfall beaches: nostalgia trip! My first beach was on azuremyst island, still one of my favorite zones. My favorite beach from this list was the Zuldazar beach, purely because "Another turtle made it to the water!" 🤣 🐢🐢🐢

Lots of beaches to pick from. Glad you got Tanaris in but bummed Isle of Quel'Danas wasn't there. That one always stuck out to me and I remember going there all the time.
