I've got the secateurs and sharpener tool from hoselink.
How about a close-up video of sharpening secateurs so I can see it as my eyesight isn't good.

Ouch. Redo this with a regular format camera. Cell phone videos are harder to view on tablets and computers.
That said, pruning in the fall may work in some zones, but you’re better off doing it in late February, so frost dieback affects only stems due to be cut off anyway, not wood pruned too early.
