I compared the best torpedo levels I could find to bring you a side by side comparison as well as a ranking. I couldn't find anything like this on YouTube so I set out to test magnet strength, compare dimensions and determine the most carryable torpedo level of them all while compiling the results in this video.
Up next: Im looking to do an in depth Multi-tool comparison so drop your favorites in the comments.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I really appreciate how you mentioned price and country of origin for each of the levels you featured. Great video!

I appreciate this video. I'm a pipefitter out of local 72 and this is a argument we seem to have on every job. They use the milwaukee at our school for the apprentices. I'd like to see the stainless level. It would be a great tool for clean room type work

The magneto looks cool but the hardware on the sides makes it not able to lay on its side to use the level. Plumbers use levels this way sometimes to get the face looking up level front to back and side to side at the same time. Like floor drains and cleanouts

I tie rebar & we put levels on them to align them properly when tying down columns. I needed the STRONGEST magnet on a pocket level so thanks to this video I went with the Milwaukee even if the majority of these levels are for plumbers & electricians lol

We had 4 of those Milwaukee levels on site in the standup job box abandoned because they were all missing magnets. Strong! but not build to stay in the level.

One of the best torpedo levels I have ever had was a harbor freight red aluminum 8inch, it was $7 n didn’t have that stupid tapered ends which always messed me up when I was trying to trace a line with my pencil. My second runner up was that Milwaukee one magnet where great it was solid aluminum as well but it was like $38 buck can’t say it was worth the price although it was nice. Other than that I have only used random empire level n what ever they sell at lowes pretty much the plastic ones u see everywhere nothing special they work fine but they don’t have the same quality as the aluminum ones. My advice go for aluminum ones and 8inch over 6

Shit that see-through Greenlees got me I plumb a lot of stuff in man if you got to see through level I currently use Flange Wizard knowing that I can drop it from 20 ft and put it back on the column and it's still good imma go look me for the winning greenlease

Savage has rounded corners so when you drop it you don't mushroom the corner and throw of the bubble

Lay the level flat on the flange and you can get both levels, no need for the rubber gasket level

I had an empire blue vile and they are indeed hard to see in low light

Grams per inch, both metric and imperial.
That's very common in Canada.
Great video.
