Jessica was tired of being David’s mistress. She wanted him to leave his wife and be with her. So, one day, she presented him with a forged pregnancy test: “Now, you have two options: stay with me and your baby, or go back to your wife alone”. David had already decided what to do. He went back home, packed his stuff, and told Sheron that they were done because she couldn’t have kids. After this, Sheron was devastated. She needed someone to talk to. 

So, she went to meet up with her best friend. That friend was Jessica.

This story was all about the selfishness of Jessica. She committed one of the 10 big sins by coveting her best friends husband. Actually, Jessica is a sociopath with no empathy and shows that she cannot form bonds with anyone. I am in no doubt that she will now go out and find another sugar daddy. Women like her always have a back-up plan. The real victim here was Sharon, the wife. She has lost her husband and best friend, but she is better off without both of them and can move on with her life. The person that really needs to have therapy is David. He has lost his wife, was played for a fool by a woman who was just using him, and now has to come to terms that he is infertile. My goodness, Jakub, you have portrayed a characters with so many problems before, but this one is a mess. I almost felt sorry for him -- almost, but no, he got what he deserved, though I hope he gets lots of therapy. This was a well written story and I liked the potential tie in with the new series with Istan as the Doctor in both.
