How to grease your trailer axles

If you are looking at properly maintaining your trailer, greasing your axles is a part of it.
Most trailers come standard with EZ-lube or grease axles and replacing the grease is quite simple.
Jack up the trailer so the tire is off the ground, and remove the plastic cap off the axle spindle.
Attach the grease gun to the zert and start pumping grease in while slowly spinning the tire.
Once the new grease starts oozing out, the axle has been re-greased!
Grease doesn't get used up, it just gets old.

should this be done ideally during summer season on a hot day so the grease flows better and has less chance of bursting the back seal?

I just purchased a new 7x14 enclosed aluminum trailer. Owner told me to spin each wheel 15x, not 14, not 16, 15 times! I’ll do that - I’m retired!
