I do all my work at a low roman workbench and have the mini version of your setup... I keep my combination whetstones in a Tupperware and use a small bamboo holder that I set on the bench with my Tupperware full of water close by. Do all my sharpening sitting down.

I should probably sharpen like this vs the chaotic messy way I use my workbench to sharpen. I guess having a cheap benchtop as some benefits.

Don't leave your stones in water, as their grit goes high, they are more likely to break when soaked in water for a long time.. salute from the Philippines!!
