I need to learn the clarinet. In High School, I took up playing the contralto clarinet. I had started out on saxophone before that. I had trouble learning to keep the tone holes covered on the regular clarinet. It's much harder to play than a saxophone, that's for sure.

Interesting! Do you always use resonance fingerings or is it passage-dependent? Like only for sustained notes for example?
