Hey guys i want to ask something i have a healthy male and female budgie and recently bought a bigger cage for them and i want to do something with the leftover cage is getting 3 one month old females a good choice? And if yes i release my 2 birds in my room the main question is will the big male bother the 3 females and can 1 male mate with 2 females?

Hi Denny! I have a question. Why did my newborn baby budgie die? It also had some yellowish hue on its belly area. I am very confused. 3 babies died like this. The parents are adult and able to breed. The babies come out good but then die. it is their first time being parents tho. Do you think it has something to do with them being inexperienced? Also, I moved one of this female's eggs to another female's nest that is experienced. will it cause any problems?

If you're thinking of getting birds, here's the thing: unless you live a calm and a bit introverted life style and you are ready to throw money into their food and their health then go for it. But if there's no vets in your region then absolutely dont. Im giving up on birds now. They have really bad habits that they wont stop mo matter what. Unless you have time, patience and lots of money then don't get birds. Trust me. And im not saying that "oh extrovert good introvert bad" no, im an introvert myself but i have a busy lifestyle.
