When the title could be that of an excited expert in their field going on a website to talk about some finding they recently made and its implications or that of a creepypasta, you know it'll be good.

you get a similar feeling when seeing something that isn't an animal but looks very much like one, suggesting that this phenomenon isn't limited to human-looking things. so i dont think we were ever hunted by human impostor-creatures.

i had the thought once, while looking at a picture or a reconstructed denisovan, that it really hit hard on the uncanny valley scale. interesting story.

He only does it at the end of sentences, so its not just his pronunciation.

For some reason this reminds me of The Thing. Movie is still one of the scariest out there and even though nothing about the actual thing is human, the idea that it could be imitating anyone (human or animal) at any given moment was terrifying
