To add a bit more information about using the fishing line at 2:18,
if you place the fishing line in the middle of the lens vertically, it will create anamorphic lens flares. Similar to cinema camera lens.
Cinematographers actually modify their vintage lenses by adding a fishing line or even 3D printed part in the front, middle (in between front & rear elements), and rear to
create anamorphic lens flares.


I also did modify my UV filter for my Super Takumar 55mm F1.8 lens and it did work, but need to do bit more modification to make it look natural.
It's nice to see that tip from here.


Also, not every tip from on this video will jack up your photography game. You'll have to work your way around with these methods.
