Low speed low power analog. How about high speed digital? Or high power? It's the same as the Agic ink. It cant' handle high current without bubbling and burning out and it's not great at high speed PWM and similar.

Seems like a winner if you need to do a lot of prototyping limited to 2 layer surface mount assy.
The consumables cost should also be weighed into the equation.

1500 is an awful lot obviously but holy shit! this is revolutionary shit for sooo many many different things. figure next 5-10 years these *would* be something hobbyist grade worthy (price cost deflation)

minimum pin to pin pitch 0.8mm? that's pretty much...even my diy-cnc pcb scratcher gets down to 0.25mm.
Will there be improvement to prototype tqfp or something below 0.4mm ptp pitch?

Even at $1500 introductory price this is an affordable device for a dedicated hobbyist. In time the price will surely drop. If you want to be first on your block to have a neat circuit board printer then this device is promising.
