Inwood community mourns innocent bystanders killed in crash

Police say two men were struck and killed when two cars got into a crash early Wednesday morning in Upper Manhattan. CBS2's Natalie Duddridge has more.

Everyone talking about a 4AM haircut must be family members of the murderer who was driving that BMW, at an extremely high speed, on a local street, AND running a red light. Who cares what these two people were doing at 4AM, bottom line is they were INNOCENT. Their lives were taken away because of some lowlife, who not only killed these two individuals, but also critically injured 5 others, and caused tens of thousands of dollars in property damage. Shame on all of you questioning a 4AM haircut.

Speed cameras won’t stop speeders unfortunately. People have no care in the world these days. Now two lives are lost due to someone’s careless actions.

Two beautiful lives lost in the blink of an eye. The community should continue to be in an uproar. The reckless driving that's permitted in Upper Manhattan is inhumane and pedestrians regularly have to fend for themselves. Frankly, it's a wonder that there aren't more deaths in our neighborhood due to the brutality and carelessness of typically insecure men behind the wheel. Inwood's elected officials, you are very good at showing up for cameras where it suits your careers. Show up now for our people who are getting mowed down on sidewalks!!

I know it’s unsafe at all times of the day but I try to stay away from the streets at does times some people coming out of parties or hanging out and it’s dark R.I.P it’s always the innocent ones that get hurt and the innocent ones left without their parents
