There is an old saying if it's to good to be true it probably is. If the doll clothing is so cheap its likely because someone isn't being paid fairly. If the miniature item is so cheap it could be made from cheap and possibly dangerous chemicals. You can buy a test you can do at home to see if your items have lead paint in them.
