CBCF ALC 2014 Africa Braintrust (Part 1)

Africa Braintrust Part 1: The 2014 African Braintrust will examine progress to date with congressional initiatives such as the African Growth and Opportunities Act (AGOA) as well as President Obama's initiatives, including Power Africa, and the Young African Leaders initiative (YALI). The Braintrust will also recap the historic U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, convened by the White House in August 2014, to build on the progress made since the President's trip to Africa last summer; advance the Administration's focus on trade and investment in Africa; and highlight America's commitment to Africa's security, its democratic development, and its people.
