Thanks, this is the only video I found that is going about how to connect the Capture Card to a PC! It was very helpful!

oh thats cool, so you plug it in and the sound just works? Thats nice, mine constantly plays everything through the Microphone setting and ive no idea how to change it. Good thing the audio settings were covered in this video

Hi Tim. One question; I'd like to have a single monitor HD60 Pro setup similar to what you demonstrated in your video, however my default monitor resolution is 1440p (2560x1440). I know the HD60 Pro's max res is 1080p, so if I do a similar setup to you, will I need to reduce my monitor's resolution to 1080p before it will work with the HD60?

Using this, do i need to run my second monitor at 1080p 60hz since i'm having to use a HDMI cable? Both my monitors are 1440p 165hz using display ports.

Hello Tim, does this work with the HD 60 as well? I mean, can I record gameplay on my PC with just one monitor? If so, how? Is the same process?

Do you need two hdmi cables? What if I’m using a DVI cable for my monitor to my computer

how do you do this with a switcher? so that when you're not using the HD60 pro for playstation or xbox you can use the monitor for the PC?

I am new to desktop. question.

I have my Monitor set up with a DisplayPort cable and its plugged into my GPU, (only way I can get 165Hrz)

could I just plug the HDMI into the Capture card and switch my monitor back and forth from DP to HDMI setting? so say I am playing PC games just use the DP cable then switch the monitor to HDMI for say Nintendo switch footage with capture card? Am thinking that would work, but want to make sure before I buy one.

Hi Tim, thx for making this video.. I wonder how good the performance? Will it perform better rather than streaming without the capture card? I consider to buy the elgato if it can help improve my streaming quality from single pc. Right now I suffer a massive fps drop while streaming AAA games on my pc.

My rig is

i5 7400
Gtx 970
16gb of ram

Thanks for the video. Just to clarify, if using an elgato on the same PC for streaming I can expect slightly better performance (lower cpu usage) than with obs? For example when streaming CS:GO with obs I get a small amount of lag so would using the elgato capture card on the PC to stream instead of obs reduce this lag?

Is it possible to record a specific application? Like if I'll record my google chrome, it will only record google chrome even if I alt tab from google chrome? Just wondering since OBS can record different tabs. Thanks!

can you run 1 DP cable from your gpu to your monitor and a 2nd hdmi cable to the elgato IN while having the GPU outputs mirrored on screens 1/2. basically running 1 monitor and the elgato capturing the mirrored image from the hdmi out of the GPU. instead of running your game through the elgato pass through?
