The FRM is probably expecting more resistance found in the old bulbs than your new Angel Eyes are sending it. To check this try fitting your old light bulbs back in and see if it fixes it. If it does you may need to splice in a resistor for the angel eyes to fool the FRM that the old bulbs are fitted.

Ngl I replayed that cold start like 10 times, that M3 is a monster

Take an ohm meter to your old bulbs and record the resistance, then take a ohm meter to your new bulbs record the resistance, add a resistor to the new bulb in series with the harness on the negative side of the bulb to trick the can bus to think that it has a regular bulb. The goal is to get the new bulb+resistor to equal the resistance of the OEM bulb

Honestly worked at BMW for 5 years man they are awesome sounding cars and they definitely put down some power but when something goes wrong with them it definitely sucks dealing with frm issues but knowing you ..you will figure it out like you did with the abandoned evo!!
