Poem dedicated to Grandfather. Written by Jacob 21. Sept, 2019 in Latvia.

This is the last part of short documentary series about Grandfather. The movie uncovers one day in his life that has been shown in 10 minutes. It talks about his daily routine and dedication to his down to earth lifestyle his fathers lived. His passion and love is horses. He is an old and experienced horse logger and is doing all the farm work all year round using only horse power. He is a hard worker and fully self-sufficient and independent. He has been living off the grid, before there even was a grid.

Not only to preserve the ways of his (and your forebears), but to those generations of struggle ahead where your children and their children's children could learn to sustain themselves and their families living like this.

Most people dont know what true silence is, and wouldn't even appreciate absolute silence. This man has peace and contentment, most people would love to find for 1 day, this man bathes himself in that peace, tranquillity, and contentment as a lifestyle.
