That's an absolutely gorgeous car. I remember when they introduced this redesign for 1970. I thought it was so impressive then and I still do today!

This car was obviously garaged it's whole life and it shows with the amazing conditions it's in.

A superlative example of a 1972 Lincoln Continental Sedan! Great review of this gorgeous survivor of one of Lincoln's finest creations!

It’s a very impressive car. When I was about 23 I almost bought a 73 Continental with Towncar option. It was gorgeous all black and had very rare power sunroof (metal panel covered in Callvary twill. It even had the mini vents

That spare tire in a 40 plus year old car is really something.

Beautiful piece of art. I know this car and have seen it at some shows a few times. I always go to it and take it all in.

Gorgeous car. I love these in the 2 Dr Coupe which are seldom seen. I'm sure he could get $15-20k with the condition his is in with no problem

I ran into these guys at the Hershey show yesterday, and yup, that car is absolutely gorgeous! Looks every bit as great in person as it does on video! BTW, my apologies for "photobombing" you at Macungie. That was me in the '67 Catalina convertible that backed in, towards the end! Hope I didn't get in the way too much!

Absolutely gorgeous 1972. (had a 1970 2-door back then and traded it for a 1972 coupe') The upper chrome molding on the fenders was a styling revision returning in 1972 - the 1970/71 did not have them. That was one of the reasons I traded in 1972 along with the return of the stand up hood ornament with a spring loaded base. Great description of the car. The ash trays in the doors were lighted also. My 1970 was gray with dark red tricot nylon in this same seat style with a black vinyl roof. My 1972 was maroon with a white cavalry twill vinyl roof and red leather interior. So many standard and optional features were available it is hard to cover them all. After the 1972 I had a Mark IV, then a 1975 Town Coupe' and after that a 1977 Mark V. This is a stunning 1972. There was nothing like them. In my opinion superior to the Cadillacs of the early-mid 1970s in fit, finish, luxury appointments and definitely ride characteristics.

Add the mirror! I did on my Mark III which only had drivers side.

The padding was to cover the lead filler lines on the roof. Otherwise they would have to finish under the roof like visible bodywork. The fiberglass pads under the hood can be reversed.

The TV Series McMillan and Wife used a 1970, 1972, and 1974 in the series.

My parents had the same year when I was a kid, but in triple brown with leather. Wonderful car, but too long to fit in our garage so it rusted out in a few years (we lived near the beach).

Protection Group: front and rear bumper guards, door edge guards, body side moldings and front and rear floor mats. The Twin Comfort Lounge seats are an option and the reclining passenger seat is an additional option. Those are the optional Luxury wheel covers.

This car brought back wonderful memories. My grandma drove a 72 Lincoln Continental sedan in yellow with green top and a dark green leather interior. That car seemed so huge to me when I was a teenager. I got to drive it when I turned 16 in 1974 until she died in 1980 when it was sold. What a smooth ride. I too thought the dashboard instrument pods were cool and the rolling changing color speedometer. 👍👍 Sure enjoyed this vid Mike. TY sir.

A beautiful and stunning car! Though I still have a hankering for the 70 4dr.

Fantastic cruiser! Love the dash in this monster and the plush amenities that come with this caliber of a luxury automobile. Despite being de tuned because of government regulations, that car still has good torque to make up for under 300 horses under the hood. I would buy that car without thinking twice. Good video!
