WATCH BEFORE BUYING TRAIN HORNS! *On Board Air System + Horns!*
I went with Viair onboard air system which feeds the horns from Hornblasters. This set up is perfect in because it fit perfectly for my duramax. I did not use Hornblasters spare tire delete kit due to the fact that they sit too low. Instead, I made custom brackets for my airhorns so they get tucked in.

can you ask your friend in the white truck how he painted his horns white? spray paint? and did he stuff anything inside the horn to protect the diaphragm ?

Out of curiosity you got HornBlasters, instead of having to go through all the stuff as to where to mount everything; the sell a complete kit that will mount to where your spare tire went. You use the steel cable that you use to raise & lower the spare, you use the same thing to raise & put into place your whole HornBlaster unit. In my opinion a much simpler & easier install, all you have to really do is run the lines for the power supply. You can still use the tank for on board air supply as well.

Curious, why didnt yall mount it under the bed. My 2017 the stuff fit under the truck (with the spare tire still there) and I am about to do my 2020 2500hd next.

Totally confused in this man I have a 2021 Ram 8in lift kit, I wanna add a train horn but it seems you went to a variety of sources to get the complete package including an inflator kit....any suggestions to help me map this out?

You will need your spare when you leave it home. I mounted my horn in the middle passenger side. So I still have a spare tire when I need it.
