Air New Zealand A320 Flight Review – Queenstown (ZQN) to Auckland (AKL)

Join me on board as I fly in one of Air New Zealand’s (NZ) Airbus A320-200s on a 1026km journey from Queenstown in the South Island to Auckland in the North Island. It’s a busy route with AKL being New Zealand’s busiest airport and Queenstown being the base for many tourists visiting the South Island.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best in Queenstown so most of the mountains were covered in clouds.

I've flown via AIR NZ many times. Flew long haul London to Auckland about 12 years or so ago and that was a breeze. Flown in and out of Dunedin 3 or 4 times on internal AIR NZ flights as well as Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Coming back next year when I retire. Congratulations on a very well done video. Looking forward to seeing more of your product!!

if you stand just where the plane is taking off, the noise is massive!! I went to NZ last year and in queenstown the sound at takeoff was phenomenal!!

I flew in and out of Queenstown with Jetstar, Air NZ and Virgin Australia and ANZ and Virgin we're incredibly amazing as well as the view of the Remarkables!
