I’m Dr. Dana Brems, also known as Foot Doc Dana. I’m completing my third year of residency in Los Angeles. As a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), I treat everything from trauma including broken bones, other sports injuries, foot wounds, calluses, thick or ingrown nails; you name it! Edit: Ok so since some people were getting pressed, I meant that, nurses should get more respect than they are getting currently. NOT they should get more respect that any other health care worker. Many people think that doctors are better than nurses even though they BOTH put in lots of hard work, sure one many have extra years of schooling but in the end the BOTH help people. Along with all other health care providers/professionals. So I thank all health care workers! That’s my rant, thank you, bye. ✌️

That was me, with my extremely thin, escaping veins, up to the day when three different docs tried and failed, then called a nurse who seemed to be at least a 100 years old. She got it without her glasses, on the first try

As a med student, I really hope this is true 😭😭😭 every time I see an IV or cannula I freak out. The nurses are sweet af when they show me how to put one though. And the patients are the nicest for letting me try 💀💫
