This is not OverSimilified, but a lazy AI copy. You are infringing on copyright and risking demonetisation.

Serbia didn't want to create a "greater serbia". This is biased. The real reason is because both croatia and bosnia were set up as federal states between the native population and serbs, which meant that if for example, croatia wanted to leave yugoslavia, then the serbs could vote seperately on it and veto the declaration of independence and vice versa. The croatians changed their constitution to allow for them to just go by simple majority of the population, they declared independence, followed by bosnia, and since the croatian and bosnian serbs did not want to leave yugoslavia, they decided to split from croatia and bosnia, sort of how west virginia split from virginia in the american civil war, which was their right to do as their status as a constituent nation within the federal units of bosnia and croatia was threatened and disrespected.

BS!
You need:
1. Ethnic picture of pre Yugoslav territories.
2. Few details on formation of the kingdom of SCS, which territories decided to enter Serbia regardless of whether the SCS would be formed.

False info:
1. Yugoslavia never had 8 republics, no matter what rights were given to the autonomous provinces at certain points. Cutting up Serbia was pushing it, since no other republics were partitioned.
2. Serbs didn't rule Yugoslavia, Serbia was partitioned, and the dictator was half Croat, half Slovene, by the official records.
3. Croatian territorial defense didn't handle the rebellion by itself, it was backed up by the west.

So much more falsehood, I can't go into all that.

This piece is not an oversimplification, this is propaganda.

So oversimplified that you conveniently failed to mention the Lisbon peace agreement of all 3 people's representatives in Bosnia prior to the war, which was signed by all 3 representatives including the Bosniak Izetbegovic, who "decided" to withdraw his signature after a meeting with the American ambassador, which is an easily checkable fact, but I guess the Americans convincing Izetbegovic to go to war doesn't fit your serbophobic narrative.

Couple of things.
- Yes, the origina name of the country -formed in 1918 - was the Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes. While panslavism was a pretty idea, tensions quickly started to rise between the various ethnicities. Mainly the Croats and the Serbs.
- In 1928 the leader of the Croatian peasant party, Stjepan Radic was shot in the head by a radical Serbian politician, inside the building of the parliament.
- As things were breaking down, king Alexander I estabilished a royal dictatorship and by decree, renamed the country into the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, among other things.
- He himself was assassinated in Marseille, in 1934... by the Ustase.

Big error in video: Bosnia did't just want independency. Bosnia was one of the strongest pillars of Yugoslavia and people in Bosnia very like communist rule. Only Croatia and Slovenia wanted to leave. Then, on the influance of Croatia, western countries and false promise about muslim state and bright future, muslims and Croats in Bosnia claims independence, despite the fact that third constitutional nation in Bosnia were Serbs which owned in that time over 50% of land.

Correction, Vojvodina and Kosovo never became Yugoslav Republics, they were always a part of the Socialist Federative Republic of Serbia.
