“Solutions-based financial advice” That could well be the title of a book written by Steve Heckard, Certified Financial Planner, a former wide-receiver of the LA Rams and former football coach at West Point.

Having left the world of athletics, Steve founded Continuum Capital Advisory in Rock Hill, South Carolina in 1984 to focus on the needs of those entering retirement or recently retired. He brought with him the mindset of a coach…. leadership, not salesmanship, would be his business model.

“Almost everything I needed to know about financial services I learned on the gridiron.” Says Steve.

CCA’s client-focused approach attracted Richard Heckard to join the practice in 2007. “We sit on the same side of the table with our clients,” explains Richard, who cut his teeth in the industry working in large CPA and consulting firms.
